A slot machine becomes your only chance of survival in CloverPit, a roguelite horror game centered on debt, probability, and strategic upgrades. You wake up inside a locked cell containing a slot machine, an ATM, and a mysterious telephone. An unknown captor demands increasingly large payments, and failing to earn enough money causes the floor beneath you to open. The story involves discovering why you are imprisoned and finding a way to escape. Every attempt requires you to manipulate the slot machine and develop combinations that produce enough coins to survive.
Each round gives you a limited opportunity to earn money through the slot machine. You pull the lever, watch the symbols appear, and receive coins according to the combinations formed. Different symbols have different values, and certain arrangements produce larger payouts. Once you have collected enough money, you must deposit it into the ATM before the deadline. Every successful payment allows you to continue, but the required amount increases as you progress.
CloverPit includes more than 150 items that can modify the slot machine’s behavior. Lucky Charms influence symbols, payouts, and other mechanics, allowing you to build combinations that generate increasingly large rewards.
The main gameplay features include:
The game does not contain traditional combat levels or enemies to defeat. Progression revolves around debt deadlines, with each new payment requiring a more effective strategy. Some item combinations dramatically increase the value of particular symbols, while others create additional opportunities to earn coins.
Repeated attempts allow you to unlock new options and experiment with different approaches. CloverPit also features multiple endings connected to escaping the cell and uncovering its mysteries. Endless Mode provides an alternative challenge where you continue developing combinations without following the main escape objective. Success depends on understanding how items interact, managing available resources, and generating enough money before the next deadline.
