Setris takes the classic gameplay of Tetris and flips it on its head, transforming it into a game where the main goal isn’t just to clear lines for points but to strategically assemble pieces to create specific shapes. It’s a fresh take that challenges players to think about the Tetris blocks in a whole new way, combining familiar mechanics with an innovative objective that adds an intriguing layer of strategy to the game.

A Fresh Spin on a Classic

This game introduces a creative twist to the traditional Tetris formula, offering players over 20 unique shapes to construct. The visuals are minimalist yet striking, utilizing only four colors to create a distinct and visually appealing experience. Quality of Life (QoL) enhancements like an undo system, hard drop feature, and auto-save function ensure a smooth and enjoyable gaming session. If you find yourself puzzled by a particular shape, there’s an embedded YouTube video for guidance. Setris is proudly my first project created with the Godot engine, and I’m excited for you to dive in and enjoy this novel interpretation of a timeless classic.
