GTA Vice City Browser is a browser-based version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City that allows players to experience the open-world action game directly through a web browser. The game keeps the core structure of the original release, including missions, exploration, vehicles, and combat systems. Players control Tommy Vercetti, a former criminal who arrives in Vice City after a failed drug deal and becomes involved in conflicts between gangs, business owners, and criminal organizations.
The story takes place in Vice City, a fictional location inspired by Miami during the 1980s. Tommy begins working for criminal groups while slowly building his own organization and expanding control across the city. The campaign is divided into many missions that involve driving, shooting, chasing targets, protecting allies, and completing business-related tasks. As the story progresses, new districts, properties, and activities become available.
The browser version follows the same general gameplay systems as the original game. Players can freely explore the city between missions, steal vehicles, interact with NPCs, and cause police chases. Cars, motorcycles, boats, and helicopters can all be used for transportation. Different weapons are also available, including pistols, rifles, shotguns, and explosives.
GTA Vice City Browser includes both story missions and optional side content. Players can complete taxi jobs, racing events, property missions, and other activities while exploring the city. The game world contains multiple islands connected through roads and bridges, with additional locations unlocking during story progression.
The game includes several major gameplay features:
The browser adaptation is designed to run without a traditional installation process. Some versions support keyboard controls, controllers, cloud saves, and mobile devices through browser technology.
