Endoparasitic

Endoparasitic is a survival horror game where the player controls a scientist named Cynte after a parasite outbreak destroys a remote research facility. During the attack, Cynte loses three limbs and becomes infected with a deadly organism that slowly spreads through the body. The game takes place inside a secret asteroid laboratory filled with mutated creatures, damaged corridors, and abandoned research rooms. The main objective is to survive long enough to preserve important research data and escape before the parasite reaches the brain.

Crawling Through the Research Facility

The gameplay in Endoparasitic is built around limited movement and manual interaction systems. Since Cynte has only one arm remaining, every action must be performed individually, including dragging the body forward, aiming weapons, reloading ammunition, opening inventory menus, and injecting vaccines. This creates a slower and more tactical survival experience where players must carefully manage movement and combat at the same time.

The story progresses through different sections of the asteroid facility, including laboratories, maintenance corridors, and reception areas. Players discover notes, computer logs, and environmental clues that explain the parasite outbreak and the experiments connected to the organism known as Adsecula cerebrum. The infection constantly progresses during gameplay, forcing the player to use vaccines to delay death while continuing deeper into the facility.

Weapons, Resources, and Survival Mechanics

Endoparasitic combines horror exploration with resource management and tactical combat. Ammunition and medical supplies are limited, so players must decide carefully when to fight enemies and when to avoid them. Some areas also contain lock-box puzzles that reward useful resources after completion.

The game includes several gameplay systems:

  • Manual one-handed movement controls
  • Tactical weapon reloading mechanics
  • Parasite infection management
  • Puzzle lock-box interactions
  • Multiple enemy mutations
  • Exploration across facility sections

Different enemy types attack in different ways, requiring players to adapt movement and positioning during encounters. The restricted mobility increases tension because escaping from swarms becomes more difficult in narrow corridors.

Managing Combat and Infection

To play Endoparasitic, the player drags Cynte through rooms while aiming weapons and interacting with objects using mouse controls. Combat requires balancing movement, reloading, and shooting under pressure because enemies can quickly overwhelm the player during mistakes. Timing also matters when using vaccines since the infection continuously progresses during exploration.
