BloodMoney: Requiem

How much suffering would you cause another person if every painful action earned you money? Bloodmoney: Requiem is a psychological horror clicker game that turns this question into its central gameplay mechanic. Your character needs $25,000 for an expensive medical operation and has no reliable way to obtain the money. Then you encounter Harvey Harvington, a cheerful man operating a roadside stall. He offers you one dollar every time you click on him. However, increasing your earnings eventually requires making decisions that directly affect Harvey.

A Simple Deal With Complicated Consequences

The game begins with a straightforward clicking mechanic. Each click produces money, gradually bringing you closer to the required amount. After accumulating enough currency, you gain access to a shop containing tools that increase your earnings per click. However, more profitable equipment also causes greater harm to Harvey. His appearance, dialogue, and reactions change depending on your purchases. You must decide whether faster progress is worth the consequences.

Purchasing Tools and Increasing Earnings

The shop provides several items with different prices and effects. Early upgrades offer relatively small improvements, while later purchases dramatically accelerate your income. Every purchase remains active throughout the current run.

The main gameplay features include:

  •         Clicking Harvey to earn money.
  •         Purchasing a feather, needle, and hammer.
  •         Unlocking scissors, matches, and more dangerous equipment.
  •         Increasing the amount earned with each click.
  •         Reading conversations and observing Harvey’s reactions.
  •         Making decisions that influence the ending.
  •         Exploring the additional Requiem campaign.

Two Campaigns and Multiple Endings

Bloodmoney: Requiem contains a recreated version of the original story alongside a separate Requiem campaign. The additional narrative introduces new interactions and explores Harvey’s awareness of his circumstances. His dialogue becomes an important part of understanding the situation, particularly when your actions become increasingly harmful.

The game has more than three endings, including outcomes influenced by the tools you purchase and how you treat Harvey. There are no traditional levels, enemies to fight, or locations to explore. Progression revolves around earning money, advancing through the available equipment, and reaching a conclusion. Replaying allows you to make different purchases, discover alternative conversations, and investigate how the story changes when you prioritize Harvey’s safety over financial efficiency.
