The Silent Night is a psychological horror game that follows the story of Daniel, a 7th-grade student who is well-liked in his neighborhood for his friendly attitude and constant smile. However, behind his cheerful exterior, Daniel hides a painful truth—he is frequently bullied by an older student named Anton. Despite the ongoing torment, Daniel never tells anyone about his struggles. On what should have been a quiet and peaceful Christmas Eve, something unexpected happens, turning an ordinary night into a terrifying experience that forces Daniel to face both real and imagined horrors.
Players control Daniel as he moves through his house and familiar surroundings, now twisted by the events of the night. Using WASD to move, Shift to run, and E to interact with objects, players must explore dark rooms and shadowy corners, uncovering the mystery piece by piece. The game relies heavily on atmospheric tension, using minimal light and subtle sounds to create a constant sense of unease. Dialogues are advanced with Space, revealing Daniel’s inner thoughts and fears, making players feel connected to his growing anxiety.
As the story unfolds, players guide Daniel through an increasingly dangerous environment, where the line between reality and nightmare blurs. Strange occurrences and eerie sounds fill the night, hinting at a deeper mystery connected to Daniel’s unspoken struggles. Players must solve puzzles, avoid unseen threats, and uncover clues that reveal what really happened that night. The Silent Night combines emotional storytelling with suspenseful gameplay, offering an experience that explores fear, isolation, and the consequences of keeping silent in the face of adversity.
