Score the Fear

Score The Fear is a short interactive game where you spend three in‑game days helping a young ghost learn how to scare people. You explore the rooms, check under furniture, look behind objects, and try to find where he is hiding. Once you discover his location, he will attempt a scare in his own way. After a series of scares in one day, you give him a rating. This rating is not just a number — it directly affects how he will behave on the following days and determines the final outcome of the story. Because of this, every choice you make has an effect, even if the gameplay at first seems simple.

Finding And Rating The Ghost

Each day begins with you moving around the environment, carefully searching for the ghost’s hiding spots. He might be behind a curtain, in a corner, or inside a piece of furniture. When you find him, he performs a scare attempt, sometimes changing the way he appears or how he moves. After you have seen him five times in a day, you are asked to give a score from one to three stars. A low rating may make him try harder next time, while a higher one can give him more confidence. This creates a feedback loop where your decisions directly influence how the ghost grows as a character over time, making the second and third days feel different from the first.

How Your Ratings Shape The Story

The game’s progression is tied closely to the scores you assign. Across the three in‑game days, the ghost becomes more skilled or changes his style depending on how you rate him. Your early ratings might encourage him to experiment with new scare tactics, while harsh ratings might push him to rethink his approach. The conclusion you receive on the third day is directly connected to this process. By replaying and adjusting your ratings, you can see different paths unfold and unlock multiple endings that reflect your choices.

The main actions you perform are:

  •         Search the environment for hiding spots
  •         Observe the ghost’s scare attempts
  •         Give a rating from one to three stars
  •         Repeat this process five times per day
  •         Continue for three days to reach an ending

Multiple Endings And Replay Value

Score The Fear can be completed quickly, but the branching story makes it worth playing several times. The game does not focus on avoiding the ghost or surviving an attack. Instead, your role is more like a guide, shaping his journey from a small playful ghost into something closer to a true spirit. Because your input changes how he acts, no two playthroughs feel exactly the same. For players who enjoy short games with multiple outcomes, it offers a simple but satisfying loop that blends exploration with choice‑driven storytelling.
