Pizzy’s Parlor is a short story-based game told from the perspective of a father. It begins inside a local pizzeria where he works a regular shift. Once finished, he plans to pick up his son from school and complete small errands before returning home. What looks like a normal day changes when strange things begin to happen around him. Each chapter leads the player to a new place that seems familiar but becomes harder to recognize as the story continues.

Structure and Gameplay

The gameplay follows a linear path made up of several short chapters. Each chapter places the player in a different everyday environment, such as a store, bakery, or restaurant. The player walks through these areas, interacts with simple objects, and observes what unfolds. There are no puzzles or combat mechanics — the story moves forward automatically through exploration and discovery. The game ends with a final scene that connects all the previous locations.

  •         Chapter 1: Leaving the pizzeria after work
  •         Chapter 2: Picking up the son from school and visiting the store
  •         Chapter 3: Entering the candy shop and meeting a small figure

  •         Final: Returning to the meat shop for the closing scene

Narrative Progression

Each chapter repeats the same pattern: the father visits a location, something unexpected happens, and he moves on. The sequence of simple daily actions slowly turns into something unclear and disjointed. The player begins to question whether the father’s experiences are real or imagined. The reappearance of certain places, like the meat shop, gives the sense that events might be looping. The game builds a slow rhythm of cause and effect that never fully resolves.

Player Role and Interaction

The player’s role is to follow the story and pay attention to environmental details. Movements are limited, but each area contains small signs of change that connect one chapter to another. The quiet structure of the gameplay lets the player focus on the story rather than skill. By observing, the player pieces together the father’s fragmented day.

Pizzy’s Parlor uses a series of ordinary places to tell a story that moves from simple routine to uncertainty. The clear chapter order, minimal controls, and repeating scenes create a single path that circles back to its beginning. The father’s actions remain consistent, but the world around him shifts, leaving the player to interpret what truly happened.
