Mouthwashing transports players into the eerie confines of a crippled cargo spacecraft, stranded and adrift in the cold reaches of space following a catastrophic crash. The crew, led by the once esteemed Captain Kerli, is now ensnared in a grim reality where survival seems more a curse than a blessing. In a twist of fate, the captain’s attempt to end his life fails, leaving him severely incapacitated yet alive. This sets the stage for a dire power shift among the remaining crew, who are battling dwindling supplies and failing systems and the psychological toll of their predicament.

Echoes of Desperation and Despair

This first-person horror experience deepens as the game progresses into a survival epic characterized by an overwhelming sense of isolation and dread. The crew’s initial solidarity begins to fracture under the weight of their collective despair, as interpersonal conflicts and the stark reality of their situation take hold. Communication, or the lack thereof, becomes a central theme as players navigate through the strained interactions and mounting paranoia among the crew. The ship itself, with systems slated to fail within six months and provisions expected to run out even sooner, becomes an arena of psychological horror where the echoes of the crew’s past actions and decisions reverberate through the cramped, shadow-filled corridors.
