Minecraft’s newest beta update, version 1.20.50.20, brings exciting enhancements to Android users, most notably through the beta introduction of Realms. This update allows players with a standard Minecraft subscription to access Realms, even in beta stages, significantly enhancing multiplayer experiences by facilitating seamless gameplay in persistently online worlds. This strategic move is designed to test and refine the stability and features of Realms in a live environment, ensuring that players can build and explore together in a continuously evolving virtual space.
The latest update introduces a suite of 18 changes aimed at improving the gameplay experience. A completely redesigned “How to Play?” screen makes the game more accessible to new players, while the addition of an “Encyclopedia” screen offers a comprehensive look at the game’s items and mechanics, including detailed information about Netherite items. These enhancements not only make the game more user-friendly but also enrich the educational value of Minecraft by providing players with a more structured learning environment.
Functional improvements have also been a major focus of this update. The Patterned Vase has been updated to hold up to 64 stackable items and is now fully interactive with hoppers, dispensers, and comparators, broadening its utility in the game. Changes to gameplay dynamics include adjustments that prevent phantoms from losing track of players and allow mobs spawned from eggs to participate in raids, adding depth to the game’s combat and defense strategies. Alongside these improvements, the update addresses 8 significant bugs, enhancing everything from the highest-level enchantments available from librarians to the stability of exiting boats and the display issues on Xbox keyboards, thereby improving the overall stability and user experience.
