How to Date an Entity (and Stay Alive) follows the story of a protagonist who wakes up in their room only to find an unfamiliar presence. A tall, mysterious woman appears before them, and survival depends on one thing—successfully navigating a date with her. Every interaction matters, and the choices made throughout the conversation determine the outcome. With multiple possible endings, the player must carefully manage their responses to uncover the different possibilities.

Choice-Based Gameplay with an Interest Meter

The game blends elements of a dating simulator with analog horror, creating a unique experience where maintaining interest is crucial. The Interest Meter tracks the player’s success, influencing which of the ten endings they receive. Dialogue choices shape the relationship, and the consequences of each decision become clear as the story progresses. Some paths lead to survival, while others take a different turn.

Short but Multiple Outcomes

With a playtime of around 15 to 20 minutes per ending, How to Date an Entity (and Stay Alive) encourages replayability. Discovering all the endings requires experimenting with different choices and paying attention to the Interest Meter. Developed in just seven days as a challenge, the game combines storytelling and interactive mechanics, offering an experience where each decision has an impact.
