Catlateral Damage is a first-person destructive cat simulator where players take on the role of a house cat. The main objective is to knock as many of the owner’s possessions onto the floor as possible within a given time limit. The game features a variety of household environments, each filled with items meticulously placed on shelves, tables, and counters, just waiting to be swatted to the ground by feline paws. Each level challenges players to cause a certain amount of mess before time runs out, with points awarded based on the number of items toppled and the monetary value of the destruction caused.

Level Design and Objectives

The game’s environments vary from typical suburban homes to exotic locations like museums and supermarkets, increasing in difficulty and complexity. As players progress, they unlock additional cat abilities and power-ups, such as a speed boost or a high jump, which allow them to reach previously inaccessible areas and create even more havoc. The interactive elements within each environment are passive objects and can include moving toys and reacting human characters, adding layers of challenge and strategy to the game. Players must navigate around obstacles and utilize their cat’s skills to maximize their score and complete bonus objectives that reward creative destruction and exploration.
